xStocks don't pay dividends in cash. When a company pays one, the custodian receives it for the shares held, deducts the withholding tax and reinvests the net amount in more shares of the same stock. Each xStock then represents a little more of that stock, so your token balance (the multiplier) goes up automatically on the effective date. Gross is the company's dividend per share; Net is what actually gets reinvested per token after tax.
